Is really MegaUpload or MegaVideo online again?

Soon after the news about the Department of Justice shutdown of Megaupload.com became popular, a new website claiming to be the new adress of megaupload got into the scene!
The website comes only by its IP address http://109.236.83.66 and appears to be based in the Netherlands . The website was online for some hours, then only this message could be read:

WE DON'T HAVE ANY DOMAIN NAME FOR NOW
ONLY THIS IP ADDRESS (http://109.236.83.66) BEWARE TO THE PISHING SITES!
This is the NEW MEGAUPLOAD SITE! we are working to be back full again
Bookmark the site and share the new address in facebook and twitter!

(and yes they mistakenly wrote "pishing" instead of phishing. Just a message to "warn" people so they would seem like the official website)

Personally I think this is just a phishing website. A phishing website is just a website resembling the official one, but its only aim is to collect data from its users. Megaupload officials (now arrested) claim that they have 250 milion users. Unfortunately more than 40% of the internet users use the same password across different websites. So in theory 100 milion users of megaupload.com use the same password even for their emails. By putting your old login data to the "new megaupload" website you take a lot of risk.
Please take a second to share this information to warn people. Copy the above message to your blogs (no need for a backlink)

Will the official megaupload.com be online again?

I seriously doubt it! I think megaupload's fate is that of thepiratebay.org. The police has arrested the CEO and other employers. The trial would take a lot of time, and a lot of people would go to other websites like fileserve.com, so in the end megaupload would lose its share. Then the bank accounts of this company are frozen by the FBI. So for some years , a least, megaupload.com will be down.

What happened to megaupload.com and megavideo.com?

Well if you don't know it yet the FBI in conjuction with the New Zealand police arrested the workers of megaupload network. The 7 arrested people face charges up to 20 years imprisonment. The damage to the entertainment industry from megaupload/megavideo is estimated to 500 million $.
